The Solution 

Through our partnership, Walgreens introduced a comprehensive Tuition Benefit program that includes savings for early childhood education as well as before- and after-school care through KinderCare’s school-age program, Champions®. To maximize employee engagement, KinderCare collaborated with Walgreens’ Work-Life and Communications teams on a targeted awareness strategy. This included a series of open houses at KinderCare and Champions programs near Walgreens’s headquarters, plus flyer distribution, newsletters, and intranet postings. Seasonal promotions, special offers, and resources on child development and parenting further engaged families with the program
 

The Results

Walgreens’ Tuition Benefit launched at the end of 2013 and has steadily grown. In 2023, employees and their families collectively saved $249,000.
