Since 2000 hundreds of thousands of KinderCare® Learning Center families and employees have worked together to raise more than $10 million to support the March of Dimes.

This year KinderCare is proud to continue this collaboration by helping the March of Dimes with its mission to improve the health of all babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. On Wednesday, May 20, thousands of children at more than 1,700 KinderCare Learning Centers across the country will participate in the WonderWalk campaign to raise money for the March of Dimes. KinderCare and its families hope to raise $2 million to support March of Dimes research.

The WonderWalk is a very important event for KinderCare children, parents and staff as everyone works together to support a unified cause. From strollers to school-agers, KinderCare children will walk at their centers with the support of parents and staff. The program has become an integral part of KinderCare's ongoing efforts to encourage community service starting at a young age. In fact, programs like this are an essential element of KinderCare’s curriculum as it teaches children about cooperation, problem-solving, community, and diversity while building children’s confidence in knowing they can make a difference. By involving children in charitable giving, caregivers can begin a tradition that lasts a lifetime.
